We are grateful to have such an incredible culinary team, led by one of the best.

When asked about his role at Lookout, Abbey answered, "Hello everyone, I am the Executive Chef here at Lookout. I am responsible for the culinary team, and oversee all banquets and the day-to-day restaurant service.

When asked about his favourite event, Abbey said, "Like every year, I look forward to both Men's and Ladies Member-Guest. It gives us the opportunity to showcase what we have to offer.

What started out as just an opportunity to have fun with a couple friends turned into a big win at the inaugural Hyundai PGA Scramble for the team from Angus Glen. The squad—which featured Patrick O’Leary, Dan Mesley, Mike Asselin, David Fotheringham and PGA of Canada professional Terry Kim—pulled out the big victory Saturday at Lookout Point Country Club in Fonthill, Ont., besting the home course favourites by the slimmest of margins.

Walter J. Travis designed Lookout Point in 1919. Completed in 1922, Lookout is considered one of Travis’ finest and most challenging accomplishments. In the 1930's, Lookout’s General Brock Open was a regular stop on what is now the PGA Tour. Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson, Walter Hagen and Tony Penna are some of the many famous golfers who participated.

Starting this month at clubs around Canada, The Hyundai PGA Scramble of Canada is a new national series of events taking place at more than 200 golf facilities around the country in 2016. The golf series culminates with Regional Finals and a national Hyundai PGA Scramble of Canada to be held right here in Pelham at Lookout Point Country Club September 29 – October 1, 2016!
