What is a CSA program?

A mutual commitment between a farm and a community of supporters. It links people directly with their source of food. By purchasing a share in the season’s harvest, you receive a weekly package of fresh, sustainably produced food. Rather than simply purchasing food, our customers become “members” of this CSA farm who receive a portion of the farm’s harvest.

Here at Rumar Farm, we have the unique ability to offer in our weekly baskets both Top Quality vegetables, as well as a varied selection of delicious and nutritious seasonal fruit. Our CSA runs for 18 weeks from June to October. Members are responsible for showing up at the agreed upon pick up site each week to receive your share of harvested produce.

This is a new project for us, and we are starting with just a few select clients to pilot this exciting new way of marketing our freshest and best fruit and vegetables. Call 905-321-3969 or email now to register. Please view the Membership Agreement and a list of our produce by month.
