Volunteerism is Good For Your Health - Presented by Tammy Dumas

Volunteerism is Good For Your Health - Presented by Tammy Dumas

Thursday, March 28, 2019 -
10:00 to 12:00

People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around them. However, volunteering is a two-way street, and it can benefit you and your family as much as the cause you choose to help. Dedicating your time as a volunteer helps you make new friends, expand your network, and boost your social skills.  For others it provides an opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge. Regardless of the motivation, what unites them all is that they find it both challenging and rewarding.

Join our presenter Tammy Dumas, Executive Director INCommunities Niagara on an interesting journey through the world of Volunteerism.
