Discussion Night on Anti-Semitism

Discussion Night on Anti-Semitism

Tuesday, December 4, 2018 -
19:00 to 20:15

Join us for a Discussion Night on Anti-Semitism at Holy Trinity Anglican Church: 1557 Pelham Street North, Fonthill

In light of the recent shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, it is timely for us to consider the history of anti-semitism, as such knowledge is critical to understanding why anti-Semitism persists in our world today.  You are invited to attend two sessions on this subject, which will cover the history of anti-Semitism from the 4thcentury to the present.  On both nights we will listen to a screen presentation on this topic by a prominent Jewish leader, Rabbi Yaakov Wolbe, which will be followed by a discussion.

These discussion nights will be held on successive Monday, November 26thand Tuesday, December 4th, starting at 7:00 pm and finishing about 8:15 pm.  For more information, contact the office at

905-892-6011.

If you wish to listen to these lectures beforehand, they are available on YouTube (TORCH Jewish History Series: Christian Anti-Semitism, Part 1 and 2) and in Podcast form (The Jewish History Podcast, No. 34, Episode 25 and No. 33, Episode 26).
