40 Day Sadhana for SAD and Depression

Sadhana(pronounced sodna) simply means daily practice.

This workshop is for those that are suffering from depression, melancholy, or Seasonal Affective Disorder, even those that would just like assistance to cultivate a daily yoga and meditation practice. The body and mind have a natural rhythm to habits. When we practice something daily for 40 days we break a habit and change the natural patterns of our thoughts or actions.

When the days become shorter and our exposure to the healing rays of the sun lesson we find ourselves more suseptable to depression and SAD. It can be challenging to overcome feelings of loneliness and separateness.

We come together weekly to practice Kundalini Yoga with a focus on both Metal and physical well-being. Our class is focused on uplifting the spirits and elevating the body through movement. We will keep a simple diary of our feelings and experiences and utilize this to bring awareness to thought patterns. Daily you will receive guidance and encouragement from myself. I am readily on hand to answer questions during your 40 days. Included also is a Full Moon Gong Bath.
