Pelham Big Band Dance Night Featuring the Jimmy Marando Swing Band runs the third Tuesday of every month in the Accursi Room at the Meridian Community Centre. 

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the band plays from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Donations are welcome for the band. Bar & food services available; food service is cash only.

Registration for the 2020 season is open. Pelham leagues are typically filled by early March, as fields need to be booked and teams set well in advance of season kick-off. We don't want to have to turn anyone away so please register early!

Soup's On is a one-day luncheon that raises scholarship funds for high school graduates. This special fundraiser is a partnership between the St. Kevin's social justice committee, Niagara College, and high school and business culinary programs.

Over the years, committee organizers have presented about $50,000 to high school students who strive to make positive change through social justice and charity activities for their post-secondary studies.

Research has shown that cities with well-maintained green spaces are more sustainable and have citizens that are happier and healthier. But what exactly are green spaces and why are they so important? 

The Fonthill Kinsmen have been hosting its hugely popular Home and Garden Show in April for the past 24 years. With low admission prices, a wide variety of exhibitors and surprisingly affordable booth rental rates, this consistently sold out exhibition has become a local favorite with both the public and vendors alike.

SHOW DATES FOR 2020:

Saturday, April 4th: 10:00 am. – 5:00 pm.
Sunday, April 5th: 11:00 am. – 4:00 p.m.

Admission: Free with monetary donation to Pelham Cares.

Check out this amazing Quilt Raffle in support of Wellspring Niagara. This beautiful quilt has been donated by the Fenwick United Church Women and hand-made by Shirley Cripps.

Tickets are now on sale at Wellspring Niagara at the cost of $2 each or 3 tickets for $5. The draw will take place on February 15, 2020 at Wellspring Niagara.

Make new friends and develop your creative side in a fun and safe environment. Includes drawing, cartooning, painting & sculpting. Learn to translate what you see onto paper! Classes focus on basic drawing exercises to help improve powers of observation and drawing skills.

As we wrap up another year at Pelham Cares, we are again overwhelmed by the generosity of this community.  Contributions from donors and volunteers;  individuals, businesses large and small, social clubs, schools, churches, the local media, and granting foundations, have allowed us to assist families who rely on us.
