Pelham residents are being asked to engage in part two of the Pelham Arena lands Community Co-Design. The two-day workshop component of the consultation occurred in late June, and now, having compiled the information and input from residents, the Town is ready to engage in the next phase of the process.

A delegation of concerned residents who live on Hurricane Road in Font- hill made their apprehensions about speeding known to Town Council. Sheila Volchert, speaking on behalf of a group who live on, or on streets intersecting Hurricane Road, voiced a growing trepidation over both the speed and in ux of vehicles using the road as a thoroughfare.

Fonthill’s Peace Park will swoon, sway, shimmy, and shake as the Town of Pelham hosts its first ever Indie Music Festival. Thanks in large part to the Niagara Investment in Culture program, this one-day event – on August 12, 2017, from 3-11 p.m. – celebrates original art and live music performances by local artists, allowing residents to connect with the rich and diverse culture residing in their own backyard.

The 2017 annual general meeting will be held on September 25th at Zest Kitchen in Fonthill. More details to follow closer to the date.

In big league fashion, the best of the best were selected from the 8 Tim Hortons t-ball teams for the annual T-Ball AllStar game this past Saturday, July 29th. The youngsters took the field to their own walk up music and impressed the crowd of fans with many hits and great plays. After the game the players had an opportunity to try their skills against the pitching machine. A great morning was had by all!

This past Saturday was the annual Charity Summer Sizzle Event, hosted by Lucchetta Homes. All proceeds from our gourmet bbq, were donated to “Wellspring Niagara Cancer Support Foundation.” Where proceeds directly offer support to those going through this terrible disease, and their loved ones.
