Due to the high Magnesium content, Epsom salts promotes the release of lactic acid from muscle tissue. An Epsom salts bath can be helpful anytime you are suffering from achiness and muscle strain. It is also an excellent idea for the evening after you have had a massage because it helps clear out released lactic acid. Without this, there may be temporary generalized soreness following the massage treatment of a particularly tight area.

Jennifer Kapala, daughter of Pelham residents, came for a short visit last summer and took some pictures around Pelham.    Jennifer is a Professional photographer in Calgary, Alberta, but lived in Pelham for few years and knew about the Comfort Maple.  One of the pictures she took was entered in a National Association of Professional Child Photographers (NAPCP) event.   Jennifer was recently named NAPCP 2014 Photographer of the year.  As a result, NAPCP selected Jennifer's picture of Pelham's Comfort Maple to post in Times Square.

We strolled through the main floor Carnegie gallery and explored the 'Comforts of Home' Exhibit to take a look back at some familiar items we once surrounded ourselves with, met some of the people who helped establish our community, revisited places where we gathered to worship and go to school in days gone by.

After further public consultations and feedback from the Pelham Farmers’ Market and Fonthill Bandshell Concerts Inc., Council decided to only slightly change the setup for Thursday evenings, leaving the arrangement predominantly the same as in 2014.

Many people think that translators can do any kind of translation brought to them. I can say with certainty that that’s not true. Translators try their very best to be knowledgeable in as many areas as possible, but there are certain types of translation that require specialized knowledge: legal translations, medical translations, technical translations, etc.

There's a lot of confusion on sugar wax, because it's a term that could mean one of two things. Either it's a sugaring gel that's made up of natural ingredients like sugar, water and lemon juice, or it's actually a wax resin product that also contains sugar.

In most endeavors, concentration is quite helpful. But that may not be the case when it comes to investing. In fact, if your portfolio contains too high a concentration of a single investment, you could run into trouble. Fortunately, it’s not hard to recognize the signs of “overconcentration” — and once you do, you can take steps to correct it.

Niagara Community Foundation has posted the 2014 Annual Report. Another great year of working with amazing donors and volunteers who are supporting our work with charities across Niagara.

Wouldn’t spring cleaning be so much more gratifying if – somewhere under dusty barbecue parts and outgrown hockey skates – you found an envelope with, say, $5,000 in cash? Wouldn’t that make spring cleaning worthwhile?  Well, you may not uncover a financial windfall when you’re cleaning the garage this spring, but if you are continuously carrying a large amount of high interest debt, a little time and attention to the task of spring cleaning that financial clutter can be very rewarding.
