You can sure tell that Spring has arrived when you have this overwhelming urge to plan your summer getaways.   With the American dollar so high and fuel prices so low, this year has the makings of a visit Canada road trip.  Planning a road trip can be an ordeal in itself.  We have included a few tips to make your planning a little easier.

Niagara Region Helping Green ELFS became an official organization in October of 2011 and work together with community resources to support the people in our region who need it the most. They strive to support and help in creative, caring and thoughtful ways. 

 

The Challenge: Complete as many classes as you can in 30 days…

 
The Prize: Aside from increased flexibility, a brighter outlook, greater confidence, better sleep, better digestion, stronger leaner muscles, increased calm and focus and a serious reduction in stress (among other things)…All participants entered in the Challenge who complete 30 or more classes will be entered into a draw for amazing prizes including: free yoga classes, massage therapy and more. Prizes are also awarded to the ‘runner-up’.

Last Tuesday, Council received several presentations about the Pelham Community Centre. The Architects presented an elegant yet very efficient design that includes adaptable and multi-purpose community spaces, a double-gymnasium (dividable into four sections), a double arena (main arena with 1000 seats; second with less than 100 seats), an indoor walking/running track, a concession area, change rooms and washrooms, and an atrium / lobby area.

St. Catharines Cycling Club and Cycle Sport Management partner to organize the newly named Steve Bauer Classic.

On Saturday May 21, road racers from Ontario, Quebec and eastern USA will compete in the Steve Bauer Classic over the traditional race course in the Town of Pelham.  The Niagara Classic bicycle race a long standing springtime road race on the Ontario calendar once began as the Effingham Road Race.
