The Town of Pelham’s public works department is preparing for the upcoming winter season and wants to remind residents what to expect, and what to keep in mind, when the snow starts falling. When snow accumulates, snow plowing operations commence. Pelham is divided into “routes”. Each route is assigned one piece of equipment and is made up of priority roads that are plowed and treated first.

When you’re viewing a property that’s on the market, you’ll probably try to imagine how your furniture will fit and look in that space. Where will your desk go in the home office? How will you position the sofa and chairs in the living room?

First, it’s often larger furniture that creates the most concern. Make sure you have those measurements on hand when viewing a property. That way, you can use a measuring tape to get a clear idea of how that particular piece of furniture will fit in the room.

long is your hair? Ask Tracy Strycker at Salon Allegra which hair

Dave Augustyn’s Column for the week of 11 November 2018

Hundreds of Pelham residents took time to gather with local Veterans, members of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Ladies Auxiliary, the 613 Army Cadets, the Pelham Fire Service, and others at the Veteran’s Park at the Fonthill Legion to commemorate and remember the sacrifices of Pelham’s Veterans.

Remembrance Day Service was held in the Veterans’ Park at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 613 on Sunday, November 11th at 10:45AM.

This year marks the 100th Anniversary of the end of WW 1 and also the 10th Anniversary of the opening of the Veterans’ Park. Legion members, Veterans, Dignitaries and Cadets were piped in by Bagpiper Ted Johnstone. Comrade Toni McKelvie, Legion president began the Service with a warm welcome and address. Rev. John Cathcart, Legion Chaplin gave the blessing and prayers and trumpeter Harmon Narbonne lead the observance of silence.
