The cuts (over 50%) made to SOLS (Southern Ontario Library Service) by the provincial government this week means that we will no longer be able to offer interlibrary loan service or sharing through our LiNC (Libraries in Niagara Cooperative) libraries. This will take effect immediately. 
In 2018, our Pelham residents received 9,569 items through LiNC and 816 items through interlibrary loan. 

The members of Arts Place Gallery would like to thank everyone who came out and supported our local gallery last Sunday at our Annual Art Auction! You made our year! June 28th - “A Dance to Remember” fundraiser for the Alzheimer Society.  The dance is being held at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, at Hwy 20, Fonthill from 6-9pm.  Featuring the Jimmy Marando Band (17-piece swing band) and Niagara Lindy Hop Social Dancers.

After wading through hundreds of possibilities, the Fonthill Bandshell Summer Concert Series selection committee has once again come up with a truly dynamic program of musical entertainment for its 14th season. The 2019 lineup features 12 great performances between June 20 and Sept. 5, from Juno-award-winning entertainers and musicians hailing from Niagara, nearby Hamilton, the GTA, and as far away as Ottawa.

Get your baskets ready, Pelham’s annual Easter Eggstravaganza is just around the corner. Residents are asked to take special note of the location change to this year’s event, now taking place at Centennial Park in Fenwick. The Easter egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m. sharp for all age groups. A bouncy house will be operating from 10:30 a.m. – noon and the Pelham Fire Department will bring a fire truck down to the park.
