'On Benevolent Wings': Fonthill Resident donates aircraft to Canadore College
Ken and Beverly Byberg have taken the turbulence out of aircraft donations when they turned over their 1974 Piper Seneca twin-engine aircraft to the North Bay Canadore College School of Aviation recently. It’s not often someone donates an airplane to a school, but the Bybergs, owners of Island 10 fishing lodge on Lady Evelyn Lake, have done just that as a means to give back to the aviation industry. The aircraft is valued at $100,000. Canadore College has been a leader in Canadian aviation training for over 40 years.
